Custom website design and development in Pittsburgh.
Herman Labs designs and builds marketing websites for businesses that want the writing, the structure, and the engineering handled together. A typical project is a new site or a redesign of one that no longer fits the work.
What a website project includes.
One studio from the first structure through launch. The domain and the code stay in your name.
A page structure matched to the questions your customers ask before they contact you.
Custom visual design, readable on a phone and on a desktop.
Forms, booking links, and the other actions the site has to complete.
A way to edit the writing after launch, included when the site should change without a developer.
Technical SEO on the pages we publish: titles, descriptions, a canonical URL, and a sitemap.
Accessible markup, then launch onto your domain.
Search and measurement.
Search work on a Herman Labs site is the foundation: pages Google can crawl, copy that says what you do and where you do it, and analytics when you want to see inquiries. It is not a separate retainer bolted on after a template install. Ongoing search marketing, if you want it later, is its own conversation.
How it runs.
Scope and price are set for the project in front of us. A five-page studio site and a catalog with accounts are different jobs, so there is no published package price. You work with Christopher Herman from the first plan through launch. A useful first note says who the site is for, what they need to do, and any timing that matters.
